How the index is computed
Each cell is the median of every in-stock stone in the feed that matches the shape, the carat band (for example 1.0 ct covers 1.00 to 1.24 ct), the color, the clarity and the origin. "From" is the lowest listed price in that cell and the small number is how many stones the median is based on; treat cells with fewer than five stones as indicative. Prices are the retailer's listed prices on the update date, before tax, and change daily.
